The Upside of Singleness

In 1 Corinthians 7:32–40, Paul reminds us that marriage is a good gift from God, but it isn’t the only way to live a full and faithful life. Singleness can offer unique opportunities for undivided devotion to the Lord and greater freedom to serve His Kingdom.
Whether unmarried, engaged, married, or widowed, our ultimate goal is the same: to serve Jesus fully and live a life devoted to pleasing Him.
